Abrolhos Surfing

Our surfing tours are Jay’s favourite and being an old surfer himself with 33 years experience at the Abrolhos knows all the breaks intimately. Jay’s first attraction to the Abrolhos was heralded by the tales of the perfect unridden waves so he became involved in crayfishing industry for 29 years and at every opportunity surfed. He could foresee there was an opening for surf, dive, eco and fishing charters at the Abrolhos so for the last 4 years he has been operating a variety of tours on the west coast out of Geraldton.

In his younger day Jay travelled around Australia surfing and rates the Abrolhos as having some of the best waves in Oz.

Jay’s comprehensive local knowledge at the Abrolhos and his understanding of the weather conditions boasts for the best break on the right conditions and makes him the No 1 choice for your next surfing safari.

Be assured your energy levels will be replenished after a hard day in the surf with the crew serving you a sensational array of gourmet dishes.

We  have a 6m Zodiac to tow in you in and out of waves and 2 aluminium tenders to try a spot of fishing if you feel like a rest from the surf.

Something to take home, we  provide  a disc with still shots and footage of your surfing experience to share with your surfing buddies of your Abrolhos Surfing Safari.

Surfing season is from May to September.
